Charr Crail has a passion for photography and art, often combining the two. Day to day she works as a California-based photojournalist where her assignments range from editorial work for magazines and newspapers published in California, the US and abroad.
Crail began her photography career over 20 years ago as a staff newspaper photographer where she honed her skills shooting people and events on the fly, with only minutes to capture a compelling, storytelling photo for the next day’s paper.
But the whimsical side of her creative force is often explored via personal projects, the current one being a series on fairies. But don’t be expecting Tinkerbell, this is a whole different point of view.
Crail has been winning international photography competitions with her digitally enhanced imagery. Samples of her work can be seen on her web site www.CharrCrail.com . Also an avid blogger Crail has been actively chronicling her work-life and personal interests via the web.
