I've always had a deep creative desire.  About 12 years ago, I started taking watercolor classes from various local artists, and have been painting ever since.  My family and friends are a constant source of encouragement.  I've been fortunate to go on numerous art workshops in New Mexico, Napa Valley and the California coast. 

For me, painting gives me a sense of completeness.  It's much more than the finished work.  The process is filled with challenges, failures and accomplishments.  In the end, if someone admires my work, it's all the better!
