The word quatrain is derived from the Latin meaning “four.” The Quatrain series
is the result of my explorations into recreating a scene from one section of a larger
piece.
My intention with this series is to create a singular landscape as a meditative,
peaceful space by manipulating four smaller pieces. This allows the viewer to
experience an everyday scene in a new manner.
Angela Casagrande was born and raised in Humboldt County, Ca. She has been
